Entering A Contemplative Practice

To enter into your contemplative practice, take a moment to slow your breath and settle into the stillness. With eyes closed, say or think the following words, letting them unfold gently in your mind.

Breath Prayer — Stillness

Inhale slowly as you silently say the first phrase of the prayer below. Exhale gently as you say the second phrase. Stay with this rhythm of breath and prayer for few moments, allowing it to still your mind and body.

Return to this practice often, drawing upon other inspired text, to reconnect to the Source and the ground of your being.
